Kinks Kept Close To One’s Chest
This doesn’t just have to be one’s hypnotic fetish, but generally, for those of us that are into one fetish or the other, most of us go to great extremes to keep these interests from friends, work colleages, distant relatives, and even partners.
It is easier to come out as gay, than to come out as being into spanking, or bondage, or even hypnosis. Many of my subjects can’t share their love of being hypnotised with their wives and girl-friends. It’s like admitting to a crime.
For me it is not an option to share. Occasionally I’ll push and play Devil’s Advocate over an issue I know the audience I am addressing have a set view. My sister has an idea of what I can get up to and she’ll just try and keep a straight face.
I come from a very cultural background. Sex is for procreation and doing it doggy style is the height of kink and adventure for some. Oral sex on a woman is a taboo. On a man is just wrong. Food should be going there, not “that!”. Admittedly, the younger generation, the parents, are opening up a little, but only just accepting that sex doesn’t have to be missionary style. How on earth do you even attempt to explain to a community where the man is the bread winner and the unquestionable head of the house-hold, that there are intelligent, sane men on this planet who choose to serve and worship.
There is a lot of skulduggery in my home with certain outfits and props hidden out of view. I resent having to tow the party line in this way. It’s my home. I pay the bills. Not the narrow minded guests. I accept I don’t have their blessng to bring it to their door-steps. But doesn’t it just get you that bigots can make one feel like a criminal in one’s home?
Although sometimes, their condemnation is to mask their own fear of the unknown. A bit like gay bashing where the person kicking the hardest knows deep down their own insecurities about their own sexuality.
If only people would shut up about something they do not understand.
